As an organizer of AIGA Baltimore’s networking events, Joshua Uzzell worked to make each event more appealing to design professionals. To do this he updated each event's logo, strategic positioning and digital banner design.
For the popular happy hour event Blend, the original design and positioning desperately needed an update. Retaining only the image of a skyline, Uzzell created a new hand lettered logo, introduced a friendlier color palette, and changed the event’s byline. The new look and feel reflected changes of how the event was hosted. No longer was Blend just a happy hour, it became a local event where professionals could “Socialize, network and learn.”
